Michael believes in the life-changing intersection of history, universal and personal, by Jesus Christ. He sees in the Son of God's incarnation, atoning death, and resurrection the primary center of hope for humankind. He confesses to the daily, transforming influence of Christ in his life while recognizing the metamorphosis from sinner to saint is far from complete. He accepts, however, that many do not share his belief and its conclusions. Therefore, he seeks to find a common ground in the dignity of persons that all may walk.
